On August 19th, JFCS is hosting a summer picnic for our Holocaust Survivor clients and members of our new Senior Social group. The summer picnic is one of Survivor's favorite events each year; volunteers say the same! Help Holocaust Survivors enjoy a fun day in the sun with their friends and families by offering to drive them to and from the event. The picnic will take place in Cook Park in Tigard from 12-2pm.
You are not required to stay at the event but are more than welcome to stay, participate, eat lunch, and help clients. Clients live in different parts of Greater Portland, so we will do our best to match you with a client that lives near your zip code.
Please consider if your vehicle is accessible to elderly individuals when signing up.
