Graciously, CBI's Sisterhood is hosting a community Passover Seder for JFCS clients. This is such a beloved event by clients, as for many it's the only Seder they attend all Passover. Many of these clients are elderly Holocaust Survivors and folks with disabilities, meaning transportation is a barrier for them. You can help remove that barrier and give clients the opportunity to enjoy a stress-free Seder by offering to drive them to and from the event.
This event occurs Wednesday, April 9th, from 12-2pm. The event takes place in Goodman Hall at CBI. Volunteers are welcome to stay and join in the event, or simply drop off the client, and return at the end of the event to drive them home.
When you sign up, please note what neighborhood you live in so you can be matched with a client who lives near you.
Wishing you all a meaningful holiday ahead, and thank you in advance for signing up to help!
