Each year, JFCS provides Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Partner organizations sponsor items for the food boxes — that brim with potatoes, a kosher turkey, pumpkin pie and more — that volunteers deliver to community members. We need 5 volunteers to sign up for an 'on-call' role for Thanksgiving Deliveries. Every year there are volunteers who have last-minute conflicts and don't show up, so we would appreciate some volunteers who are available between 1-3 pm to potentially do any routes that volunteers don't show up for. We will call you if this service is needed from you.
Keep in mind when signing up:
- Even if the opportunity is full, we recommend joining the waitlist if you are interested, as people's schedules can change before then!
- You have to register for the site to respond to the opportunity.
- This task might require you to carry heavy boxes and walk upstairs.
