Description

JFCS' Holocaust Survivors Services team is looking for a volunteer to help bring a client to and from a doctor's appointment this upcoming Tuesday, February 8th at 10 a.m.

The survivor will need to be picked up from their home in Beaverton (97005) and brought to an appointment in Tigard (97223). This should take about two hours in total, and you will not need to accompany the client inside.  This client does speak English and does not have mobility challenges. The client is fully vaccinated and has agreed to JFCS' COVID policy. By volunteering your time and energy to drive this client you will add dignity and independence into their daily life.

When you respond you will be prompted to read the Transportation information document and agree to follow the outlined policy if you have not already.

Thank you for considering helping out!

*Please note, participating in a transportation program requires a background check and a DMV check that will be sent you by Sterling Volunteers if you respond to this opportunity*
