JFCS’ Holocaust Survivor Services program, Cafe Europa, is planning a holiday Challah Bake & Luncheon for clients. This delicious and festive event will take place on Wedneday, September 25th, from 11am-1pm at Portland Kollel. To ensure all those interested can participate, we request volunteers drive clients to and from the event.
Sammy will match you with the client closest to your home, so the commute should not exceed 25 minutes to or from the venue. When you sing up please note the neighborhood you live in, and if you are comfortable driving more than one client, as often multiple live in the same community.
Volunteers are welcome to stay and bake a challah, enjoy lunch, and bring in the new year through connection, community, food, and festivity! Thank you for considering helping out!
